Never again will I pay to have an ‘emergency plumber‘ come out to the house, I have much better things to spend my money on. One thing is for sure a gallon jug of white vinegar and a box of baking soda is a million times more effective and costs so very much less.
Wait a minute you say, only white vinegar and baking soda? An professional will put all those useful chemicals down your drain, wear a mask to keep from gagging, tell you not to put your feet in the backed up tub for at least a week, then charge you $200 for the 15 minutes he was there. My low-cost solution is something you usually have on hand in the kitchen cabinet and can add to your food, can the man you usually call on in such circumstances make the same statement?
A backed up toilet was running clean in just a matter of minutes after applying the white vinegar and baking soda, I did not have to wear a mask and it did not make me gag. To top that off I may have spent a whole whopping $3.00 fixing my problem, and that covered two or three trips.
The hair in the sink drain just dissolved like magic with my secret remdies and the drain was smelling so fresh I tried the same thing in the kitchen. Maybe I should rename my ‘emergency plumber’ to ‘magic emergency plumber’, many people have come to me to ask where to get the tradesman I used and ask me how come they never saw a plumbers truck in my yard.
