Admittedly it can be sometimes difficult, especially when differing pricing schemes are used, to figure out what gives you the best value for your money. It is important to look into things, sometimes in detail, when you are making large purchases to make sure that there are no hidden costs attached to items.
A simple case in point is the different pricing structures of Lowes and Home Depot for plantation shutters. Home Depot plantation shutters are measured by the square foot. However, the point is that you do need to carefully analyze the cost of shutters before you go ahead and make your final purchase.
One easy way to compare is to find similar shutters at both stores and go through the whole ordering process for them, to the point of actually checking them out. That way you can easily compare prices and see where you will get the best deal.
