When I think back to the days when I first bought my swimming pool I was trying to cut down on the costs. So I decided not to upgrade and get an automatic pool cleaner with my inground pool. I figured how hard could it be to vacuum the pool yourself, who needs an automatic pool cleaner. My logic was, I can vacuum the house myself so why not a pool.
When the pool was finally installed I had to clean it so I got out all the tools to clean my pool and for the life of me I could not figure it out. I had to go back and forth with the people I bought the pool from to teach me how to use the vacuum. Once I got it working I soon realized that I hated it. I hated hooking it up, I hated standing in the hot sun pushing around the vacuum and I hated that I had to do this about 2 week. It quickly became my most hated chore. So I certainly learned my lesson.
Later I went shopping for an automatic pool cleaner and there were so many to choose from. I thought there was only one kind that the pool company was offering and at that time I thought $1,000 was a little pricey. To my surprise there were automatic cleaners starting at just $99.
I decided to do some research and I came up with 3 good rated cleaners in my price range. They were all different too, I had a suction side cleaner, a robotic pool cleaner and a pressure side pool cleaner. I ended up spending more money for the robotic pool cleaner. It was the most efficient, energy saving and easy for any body to use.
Since my purchase, I can’t imagine my life without it.
