There are times when you walk into a room and there is a sterile feel and it doesn’t have that feeling of home. Then there are times and the room is full of atmosphere, it feels alive and lovely. The reason for that great feeling is simple, flowers. It might always appear to be fresh flower, but more and more recently they are actually artificial flowers and plants.

There is good reason artificial flowers have become so popular over the years. They have many advantages over fresh plants and have become more real looking. Unlike fresh flowers which will only last around a week, or 10 days if you are lucky, a bouquet of imitation flowers are going to last much longer, pretty much as long as you want them to be there. They are not going to die and need replaced after a week.

Not having to buy a new bunch of fresh flowers every week is going to save you a lot of money. Money that could be spent elsewhere, on something more important. If you opt for artificial flowers there are always going to flowers in your home or your place of work. If you are the type of person who forgets to replace the fresh flowers, then with artificial flowers this is not going to be a problem, the only time they need to be replaced when you decide you want something different.

With artificial flowers there is almost no care needed to keep them looking good, compared to fresh flowers all you need to do is keep the leaves dust free and clean. Obviously there is no need to water them and keep them trimmed to have them looking their best.

Artificial and silk flowers are also clean and hygienic. Unlike real flowers they don’t attract insects and bugs, great if you want flowers in your kitchen. Also, they don’t go rotten and begin to smell. Plus there is no old rotten water or dead rotten leaves making a mess of your table or window sill.

Artificial flowers have some great points over fresh, and are perfect for those people who have no time or interest to care for fresh plants and flowers.
